What does the course entail, and how long does it take to complete?
The IOSH Level 3 Certificate is structured around four mandatory units that cover the essentials of occupational health and safety management, risk management, incident management, and improving health and safety culture. The course involves 80 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 122 hours. Most learners complete their studies through a mix of directed e-learning or face-to-face tuition, tailored to fit around their work commitments.
How is the IOSH Level 3 Certificate assessed?
Assessment for the IOSH Level 3 Certificate is a multiple choice questions (MCQs) examination and scenario based assessment (2 separate assessments on different days).
The assessments are conducted online, through IOSH AO own assessment assessment system, which is also moderated to ensure that there is no cheating or collusion.
The forthcoming exam dates are as follows. All assessments take place at 0930 UK time.
